The rules you can play with
The future is too open to be approached as a fixed plan. It is better understood as a field of action: a world with constraints, patterns, other players and more possibilities than most people allow themselves to see.
These are not universal laws, and they are not a complete philosophy. They are rules I use to move through an uncertain world without reducing it to a single strategy. They are tools for deciding, acting and staying in motion.
1 — T.I.R. — Taste, Intelligence, Risk
The first framework is T.I.R.: Taste, Intelligence, Risk. It is a simple sequence for turning a vague desire into a direction and then into a real possibility.
Taste gives the direction. It is the ability to recognize what feels coherent, necessary, beautiful or worth building before you can fully explain why. Taste is not decoration. It is a selection mechanism. In a world with infinite information and infinite possible outputs, taste tells you what deserves attention and what should be ignored.
Intelligence puts that direction into motion. It helps you understand the system, find the shortest path, connect unrelated information, build the tools and solve the problems that stand between an intuition and its expression. Intelligence without taste can produce impressive work that has no reason to exist. It can optimize the wrong destination perfectly.
Risk is what allows you to go there. It is the decision to expose the idea to reality: to spend time, money, reputation, comfort or relationships before you have proof that the direction will work. Risk is not recklessness. It is the price of converting a private conviction into something that can be tested by the world.
The taste gives the direction.
The intelligence sets it in motion.
The risk allows you to go there.
T.I.R. works as a loop. Taste chooses a direction. Intelligence improves the map. Risk creates contact with reality. That contact changes your taste, sharpens your intelligence and tells you whether the direction deserves more of your life.
2 — The levels of consciousness
There are different levels of relationship with the world. At the first level, the world happens to you and you remain in constant reaction. At the second, you manage and control the instability with routines, systems and restrictions. At the third, you develop enough internal alignment to distinguish what you can change from what you need to accept.
The highest level is not permanent calm. It is permeability without loss of self: being able to enter an intense environment, connect with another person or receive a strong emotion without becoming absorbed by it. Your boundaries become flexible without becoming weak.
Level 0 — Victim of the world, in constant reaction.
I experience the world as something that happens to me. I constantly react to stress, emotions and external events. My nervous system is in survival mode, with strong emotional reactivity and little conscious distance. My body is tense, my energy is chaotic, and my relationships are often built on projection, complaint or withdrawal.
Level 1 — Management and control.
I am still deeply reactive and in conflict with the world, but I have found tools to limit the damage: routines, sport, breathing, isolation, organization and control of my environment. My balance depends heavily on these strategies. When the frame breaks or the intensity rises, I can quickly lose emotional control. I am no longer entirely a victim of my reactions, but I am still managing a permanent inner instability.
Level 2 — Alignment and inner fluidity.
I develop an inner stability that allows me to stop fighting everything that happens. I can distinguish what I can control from what I need to accept, with more presence and faster emotional recovery. The body becomes more relaxed, relationships more authentic and energy more grounded.
Level 3 — Flow and connection.
The world can move through me without destabilizing me. I remain open, centered and whole even in emotionally intense or chaotic environments. I am no longer trapped in reaction or permanent control. I can receive energy, tension or emotion without having to flee it, fight it or absorb it.
My boundaries are solid but flexible. I can connect deeply with other people without losing myself, merging with them or carrying what does not belong to me. I can adapt my energy almost instantly, without heavy mental strategy: moving from deep calm to intense, social, creative or assertive energy depending on the context while remaining internally aligned.
Instead of imposing my state on the world or submitting to the state of others, I enter into resonance with the environment, the people and the present moment. I can refuse consent calmly and clearly: “I do not consent to this dynamic, this energy or this interaction,” without guilt or aggression.
I transmute external energy instead of internalizing it. I keep my axis while positively influencing the emotional climate around me. Magnetic presence, deep stability and lucid empathy: people often feel calmer, understood or naturally regulated in my presence.
3 — The levels of energy
People do not all act from the same center. Some primarily live in the head, through analysis, anticipation and control. Some act from gut energy: instinct, presence and embodied decision. Others are moved by primal energy: desire, attraction, creativity and expansion.
The point is not to eliminate one center. It is to move consciously between them. Head energy asks, “Does this make sense?” Gut energy asks, “Do I feel this deeply?” Primal energy asks, “Does this give me life?” A complete person can listen to all three without being imprisoned by any one of them.
A — Head energy: mental and cognitive energy.
The world is processed through analysis, logic, anticipation and control. I think before I act. I try to understand, optimize, predict and structure.
Strength: clarity, strategy, abstraction and distance.
Risk: overanalysis, dissociation, rigidity and disconnection from the body and emotions.
Key question: “Does this make sense?”
B — Gut energy: instinct and core energy.
The world is processed through visceral feeling, the gut and embodied intuition. I immediately sense what is right, wrong, dangerous or aligned.
Strength: stability, presence, fast decisions, grounding and natural leadership.
Risk: closure, domination, territoriality and impulsive reaction when wounded.
Key question: “Do I feel this deeply?”
C — Primal energy: sexual and life energy.
The world is processed through desire, attraction, the life drive, expansion and primitive force. This is the energy of creation, reproduction, conquest, magnetism, pleasure and intensity.
Strength: charisma, vital power, raw creativity, attraction and movement.
Risk: addiction to stimulation, impulsivity, validation and sexual or emotional domination.
Key question: “Does this attract me, excite me or give me life?”
The higher level is not the suppression of one center. It is the ability to navigate consciously between all three without becoming a prisoner of any single one.
4 — The trust system
Trust can be treated as a system of green and red cards. I give trust while someone acts correctly with me, and I remove it when a clear boundary is crossed. A red card does not have to be eternal, and a green card is never permanently acquired.
The important thing is to judge the act in the present instead of turning every interaction into a permanent emotional trial. Trust is not blindness. It is a clear, revisable response to what is actually happening.
5 — The infinite game
You are wrong until reality proves you right. While a vision has not worked, the world may treat you as naive, foolish or delusional. If it eventually works, the same world will rewrite the story as though the outcome had always been obvious.
The infinite game is the discipline of continuing to build without requiring immediate recognition. The only useful judge is reality over time.
6 — The open world
The world is an open world. You can go almost anywhere, speak to almost anyone and build almost anything without waiting for permission. Many limits are mental, social or administrative before they are truly physical.
Will, strategy, audacity and even ignorance can become tools. Most people live inside a very small map they built themselves, while the larger world is already open.
7 — Overthinking
Every time you hesitate or overthink, someone less talented than you takes your fucking spot.
